I've enjoyed drawing as long as I can remember. I've kept drawings that go as far back as when I was 10 years old. I laugh when I see them but I can remember the feeling I had when I finished one back then. I still get that feeling. When my wife and kids go to bed, that's when the drawing begins. I have such a hard time putting down the pencils, I'm sometimes up until 3:00 am.
I used to do a cartoon strip called Backworld. It was in a few papers but never really took off. It was a lot of fun having it published but it was difficult and very time-consuming to come up with new ideas. When my first kid was born, he consumed all of that time, so I pretty much stopped.
I started drawing portraits for people in 1998 when someone I knew had a portrait drawn and I thought, "I could do that!". Now I'd like you to be the judge of that. Please visit my Gallery to view samples of my work.
